How to Apply Your FastDTF UV Transfers
Applying UV-DTF is quick and mess-free:
- Clean the surface
Make sure your item is smooth, dry, and dust-free. - Peel the backing film
Gently remove the white backing to expose the adhesive side. - Position the design
Place the transfer onto your surface and press firmly. - Apply pressure
Use a squeegee, card, or your fingers to push out air and ensure strong adhesion. - Peel the top film
Slowly peel the clear film away — your design stays in place, crisp and permanent.

Artwork & Upload Guidelines
To get the sharpest, cleanest print possible:
- Send files in PNG, PDF or high-res JPG
- Ensure your design is at 300 DPI
- Remove any unwanted backgrounds before uploading
- Colours look best when you provide CMYK
- Tiny details and gradients print well — just make sure your file is crisp
If your artwork isn’t high resolution, we can still print it, but it may appear soft.

Aftercare & Durability
UV-DTF is built for long-lasting adhesion:
- Hand wash only where possible (especially for cups and bottles)
- Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbing
- Do not soak items for extended periods
- Not dishwasher or microwave safe
- For phone cases or hard goods, simply wipe clean with a soft cloth
When applied correctly, UV-DTF is durable, scratch-resistant, and made for everyday use.
Common UV-DTF Issues & How to Avoid Them
The design isn’t sticking properly
– Make sure the surface is fully cleaned and degreased
– Avoid textured or dusty surfaces
– Apply firm pressure before peeling
Bubbles under the film
– Press or squeegee slowly from the centre outward
Edges lifting
– Ensure the design is fully pressed before removing the top film
– Reapply pressure for stubborn areas
Print looks distorted
– Avoid stretching the film when applying
– Keep the surface stable and flat during placement
